It's only August, but I haven't stopped thinking about fall and, of course, my fall predictions. While I can't say I'm expecting some crazy trend next season, there are some textures and styles that I know we all want to break out these next couple of months.
Suede! Suede! Suede! I've always been a fan of suede and I think it's so chic when paired with a simple white baby tee. Whether you opt for vintage suede pants or just a killer suede jacket, you need to get the fabric in your closet for fall ASAP.
Something is in the air and it's fringe. And a bit of this western jacket look. But the vibe is very curated and kind of on a IYKYK basis. Because we aren't wearing fall and fringe like we just feel out of Texas and took Glen Powell too seriously. The TIGG girls know it's Isabel Marant, it's a French twist on fringe, it's fashion week styles. That's the fall vibe.
Jean jackets with jeans are the move. When styled with a killer shoe it's very western meets city girl. I'm assuming you already have a great pair of jeans so now you just have to pick which wash of denim matches them better so you have a perfect set.
I've definitely been in my short nail era and I can't see myself going back anytime time soon (dare I say ever?). This fall I can't wait to have short burgundy nails or short black nails to pair with my sweaters and all black outfits. I'm ready to ditch the baby pinks and bright blues of summer.
Haven't you all had enough headaches from the slick backs? It's time to let your hair down and messy. Loose, effortless waves, undone styles, and simple hair is the way to go this fall. And if it you need to hid it, nothing is chicer that tucking it into a turtleneck sweater or coat.
Now boots always make there way around every fall, however the styles are always switching up. In the previous years we've seen black leather, pointed toes, and even the Miu Miu biker boots had their moment. This year however, I'm feeling three things. Either sticking with that suede and western theme, or just switching out the pointed toes for a square toe shoe. And instead of Miu Miu we are going to see more of that slouchy, fringy, Isabel Marant style shoe.
