I am a huge fan and supporter of pumpkin spice season. Like, I die for pumpkin spice every single year. In fact, from September to November, everything has to be pumpkin spice flavored.
So it is no surprise that I love when coffee shops start selling iconic pumpkin spice lattes.
That also means I do love Starbucks’ Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew (who doesn’t).
However, all that heavy cream and milk doesn’t always agree with my stomach, and sometimes I just want to take a break from dairy.
So instead of missing out on this seasonal treat or sacrificing my stomach, I created a recipe last year that is to die for.
It’s my healthy vegan version of the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. You can make it at home and enjoy this drink while saving money and your stomach.
Add all ingredients to either a frother or a cup, then using said frother or an electric whisk, combine and whisk all of the ingredients until combined and frothy.
Fill a glass with ice and pour your favorite cold brew into the glass.
Pour your frothy pumpkin cream on top.
Serve and enjoy!
The answer is yes; while there are vegan-friendly dairy substitutes included, the main ingredients in a pumpkim cream cold brew are all vegan-friendly. The drink consists of cold brew coffee, pumpkin cream cold foam, a hint of pumpkin spice blend and vanilla sweet cream cold foam. All these components are naturally vegan and free of animal products.
