As the days grow longer and the weather gets warmer, music festival season is fully upon us. While not every it-girl could make it to the desert last month for Coachella, don’t worry! There are still plenty more opportunities to break out your favorite pair of cowboy boots. Music festivals have only become more popular over the last couple of years. Whether it be for the opportunity to see your favorite upcoming artists (I’ve been obsessed with Chappell Roan) or because you’ve been craving a chance to get dressed up, these festivals are a hotspot for teenagers and young adults.

Obviously, festival fashion is an extremely talked about subject across all forms of social media. It feels like every time I log onto TikTok, my feed is filled with various creators breaking down their favorite Coachella looks. Not to mention, iconic throwback outfits from celebrities like Vanessa Hudgens and Kendall Jenner are still populating Pinterest boards all over the world. Even years later, Gen Z attempts to replicate the carefree, bohemian nature of these outfits.

However, finding the perfect festival outfit is never simple, which is exactly why I’m here to help! I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite festival-ready pieces. From flowy, seventies-inspired tank tops to shiny, gold accessories, I’ve hunted down all the best boho-chic items fit for an it-girl.

  • “Hello! My name’s Gabrielle Gagnon, but you can call me Elle. I’m from Boston, and I’m majoring in fashion media & marketing in college next fall! I’ve been a competitive dancer my whole life and I love staying active with yoga, pilates, etc… Fashion is my thing, but I’m also extremely passionate about both mental health & women’s health! My goal is to spread awareness and make a difference, no matter how small.”
