Fall is just around the corner, and we all can't wait. It's an amazing time of year filled with big knit sweaters, oversized trench coats, high black boots, and one of my favorite things in the world: pumpkin spice.
So normally, I would do my fall shopping once the season is here and I'm totally feeling all the vibes, but this year I had a new idea in mind.
I need to get some basics and essentials BEFORE fall.
I'm not talking about buying the perfect fall sweater right now; I'm talking about the items that you need early to set you up for the most seasonal fall ever.
For example, when Autumn comes, pumpkin spice lattes come right with it. And I, for one, absolutely adore pumpkin spice lattes. Like, I buy the creamers the second I can, and I drink them for as long as possible.
But what makes your pumpkin spice latte feel even more fall-like is a perfect fall mug to drink it in. See what I mean? This mug is a great purchase to grab before the season, so you are ready to enjoy this delicacy of a drink right when you can.
And for my girlies who drink iced coffee all year round (aka me), these are some iced coffee glasses that are still perfect for that iced PSL.
I understand that the second cup also might be a lil cheesy, but it's a vibe, and it's more of an ironic thing. A very festive it girl, ya know?
You can never have too many candles, and it's time to start stocking up for the change of season. Because this is candle season. I also love the scents offered this time of year, so it is 100% the best time to buy candles. I think these are something you can get ahead of time because it's like you have backup and are ready to light them the second the weather drops.
I could honestly do an entire article on candles you need for fall because my list goes on and on.
Now I know I just said I wasn't going to talk about sweaters, and I'm not (kinda), but I don't think there is any harm in having one sweater ready for fall. Because one day, the weather will get cold, and it will be so exciting until you realize you don't have a super cute sweater to go out in because it's been all about summer fashion up until yesterday.
So feel free to choose one of these super simple but super chic sweaters to kick off your fall. These would look great, paired with some baggy blue jeans and your favorite sneakers (or Uggs once it really is fall), or a black mini skirt and knee-high black boots.
I'm really into a more minimal it-girl look (my Pinterest @skyhaarsma really shows the vibe if you wanna see the vibe), and these sweaters fit this aesthetic perfectly.

I’ve recently been really getting into skincare and trying to learn more and more about it and about my own skin. And I’ve also been noticing the most popular yet efficient skincare products used by all the hot girls on our TikTok for you page. So between social media and the Beauty Secrets from Vogue, I’ve managed to make a list of what seems to be the skincare essentials of it girls.
I first heard about this cleanser from Kaia Gerber, and ever since then, I've seen it all over Pinterest and TikTok. It's a great face wash, and you feel like a total it girl. It’s gentle and doesn’t dry out your skin, leaving you fresh and clean.
Everyone I know (including myself) who has bought this product has ended up buying it again. It feels lightweight when you're putting it on and dries nicely while still leaving a glowing and moisturized look. It's super hydrating, and I think it’s a great product whether you have dry skin or normal skin.
I love this sunscreen. It's tinted and leaves you with the dewiest, glowiest, and flawless skin ever. It's the perfect product to finish off your skincare routine. Plus, it's super lightweight and doesn’t even feel like sunscreen, but you are still getting that SPF 40.

Miss Hailey did know what she was doing when creating this product. I love it because rather than needing a bunch of different serums with different important ingredients, this one offers it all in one. It has everything I mentioned above, like Niacinamide and Hylaroinicc Acid, but it also has peptides and oil that are great for your skin.
As you probably know by now, Hailey Bieber released a smoothie with Erewhon after launching her new skincare brand, Rhode.
I’ve been seeing so many people talk about the smoothie and swoon over it, so I wanted to try it myself and see if it's actually as life-changing as people describe it.
So I drove over to Erewhon and bought this super cute pink delight for $17. That part isn’t super cute, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. Anyways, let’s get straight to the point.
First of all, it tastes like a very simple strawberry smoothie. If you want a smoothie for flavor, this is not the one I would order from here. This smoothie is all about the ingredients. And these super cool featured ingredients don’t have much taste, so, understandably, the smoothie has a pretty generic and simple taste.
I did notice a hint of a flavor that I’m not sure what it is, and I don’t really love it.
This smoothie features ingredients like hyaluronic acid, collagen and sea moss which have great skin benefits. It also includes avocado, which is less fancy but still super great for your skin. And when you buy this smoothie, you aren’t buying it for a great smoothie; you're buying it for that.
So basically, if you want a smoothie for the flavor, I would 100% order a different one, but if you are ordering a smoothie for skin benefits. I would 100% order this one.
And the thing about this drink is that you can totally make it yourself at home. In fact, I created the exact recipe, so you don't have to miss out.
Overall, a simple smoothie, but the flavor is not worth the price, and I think just having a healthy diet will probably help your skin the same amount this smoothie would.

So many dresses are on the market, but it might be impossible to find the right ones. So I put together my favorite and most-it girl-worthy summer dresses.

I feel like this dress is perfect for those nice dinners you go on while on vacation. I'm picturing staying at Nobu Los Cabos and throwing this dress on for a fancy dinner after laying in the sun all day. Talk about looking cute from day to night.
You can never own too many little white dressed. This one, when styled correctly, is super cute. I love this loafer look shown in the picture, and I would wear that or some cowboy boots.
How. Freaking. Cute. I love a good strapless moment, and I feel like this is the perfect summer dress for when you roll out of bed, throw it on, and have your fresh bread and jam while sitting in the French countryside. See the picture?
If you don't get this dress right now when it's 40% off, I won't get it later. I'm not 100% sure if it's worth the investment because there are many other options I'd put before this one. Nonetheless, it's still a super cute dress and great for throwing on and heading out the door knowing you look super hot, and it took no thinking.
Remeber how I said there are other dresses I'd invest in before the Marc Jacobs one? Well, this is one of those dresses. You cannot tell me this isn't the most stunning dress ever. The whole brand itself is a vibe, and its aesthetic is everything. But I love the detail and the fit and the fa=bric and the shape and pretty much everything about it.
A classic staple black dress that's great for lounging in but also great for running out to grab a coffee. Plus, it could 1000% be worn all year round. Just switch up the accessories and boom. That's what I call a closet staple.
You cannot tell me that this wouldn't be so cute for a summer trip to Europe. Like I could only dream of walking around the coast of Italy wearing this dress and eating gelato. In fact, I'm manifesting that right now.
Summer in the Hamptons. That's it. That's all I'm saying.
You might have heard of sea moss on your TikTok or maybe saw your favorite green juice girl adding a heaping scoop of it into their smoothie, but what really is this? And is this actually something you should be eating, or is it just another health trend that is kind of stupid?
First of all, sea moss is a red algae and you can get it raw or in the form of a pill, powder, or everyone's favorite: a gel. Now, most sea moss supplements aren’t actually approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, but that doesn’t dismiss the fact that this is almost a superfood.
Sea moss is great for your gut health, heart health, and immunity. It's also full of fiber which is always a plus. It also contains more than 90% of the nutrients our body needs. How killer is that? My second favorite thing about this product is that it's great for your skin. The magnesium, vitamin A, vitamin K, and omega-3 fatty acids that you find in sea moss all hydrate your skin and protect its barrier. Its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties are also great for clearing your skin up.
Now you might be super convinced that you need sea moss, but there are some cons. First off, it tastes disgusting. The best way to eat it is by blending it with your smoothie with the hopes of completely masking the taste and texture. It would probably be painful to just eat a straight scoop because of its super fishy taste and super slimy texture. But the supplements shouldn’t be too bad. To give you an idea of what the gel is like picture a scoop of aloe vera but it tastes like clams.
You also don’t want to overindulge in this product with the hopes of clearing your skin super fast because seaweed is known to absorb heavy metals which are toxic in large amounts.
So personally I think choosing to eat or not to eat this new “superfood” is up to you. I personally throw a scoop in my smoothies because I love the benefits and I love trying all the new health and wellness trends. But if you stick to a clean diet you really shouldn’t need to rely on supplements. Overall, this trend really is a personal choice. But I do suggest trying it out because why not? Who knows you might feel great and your skin will be amazing and all that jazz.

Let me just start off by saying 3 things. Actually, more like 3 facts.
That's it. Those are my 3 facts. And notice how I said facts? So you can't question whether tube tops are cute on you or not because I literally just said they are and I said those are facts. So like... check the facts. Oh, you did? Great, let's continue.
Now let me evaluate my facts.
Fact 1: Tube tops are THE top this summer... blah blah blah. They are! It might be because they look great with other current fashion trends or just because someone cool wore one and brought it back, I'm not too sure but they are here and they are hot. They will look so great in all their colors this summer by the beach or with a smoothie in hand. Plus I feel like I would be living my best life this summer if I spent the whole time in a tube top.
~~~quick side note: you either get exactly what I'm talking about...or you don't...because it girls only...duh~~~
Fact 2: I am a die-hard tube top fan... It's true. And it might be because of what I said earlier about how I live my best life in a tube top but IDK. Anyways, I always feel like such an it girl in a tube top and it might be because of that effortlessly cool and hot and perfect vibe they give, or because I feel like Paris Hilton. Not too sure, but either way, tube tops always win.
Fact 3: Everyone looks good in tube tops...everything looks good with a tube top. And I stand by that. Like when have you ever seen someone look bad in a tube top? That's right, you haven't. I end my case. And also, everything looks good with a tube top because of how versatile they are! You can dress it up with a blazer, pointy boots, and a matching maxi skirt for a night out, or pair them with a mini skirt and platform sandals for the perfect beach day look. I could honestly name like 100 ways to style a tube top off the top of my head, but first, we have to start with the basics.
So now that you are convinced you need a million tube tops (because you can never have too many), you are probably wondering where to get some cute ones. Well, say no more. Lucky for you, I'm always taking notes when I see a cute tube top, so I was able to round up some of my favs.
Starting off very strong with a classic and sturdy top from the one and only Djerf Avenue. They make their tube tops in a bunch of colors, but I included the blue one below. I love the relaxed fit of their tube tops because that is so hard to find in a tube top and the fact that they offer this is just *chef kiss*.
They also offer the top in a striped print which is super cute. My personal fav is the pink one but that's just because pink is one of my favorite colors. I might have to grab it and give you all a review <3
Guys how cute is this top? Diesel is constantly raising the bar and making me more and more sad that I can't have every single item they make appear magically in my closet. How tragic. It's honestly giving a superhero vibe with the metal D, but I'm so here for it.
And don't even get me started on how obsessed I am with Gimaguas. Everything they make screams summer and their whole aesthetic is 2DIE4. I could scroll through their Instagram for hours, but even worse, I could scroll on their website for hours just adding everything to my cart. Not only are Gimaguas amazing at making pretty much everything, but they are also extra creative and iconic when it comes to their tube tops. They offer quite a lot, and you can find previous styles on vintage clothing sites, such as the one above. However, they released a new drop for summer and there is a specific tube top that I had to include below.
How could you not fall in love right now? I actually need this top and I will do everything in my power to get it!
This top is so simple yet elegant and a great basic. I would 100% wear it with some low baggy blue jeans and black platform sandals. Reformation also sells a really cute green tube top that's made with a super comfy fabric.
This tube top is so perfect for a beach day in the summer or a pool day while on vacation. Its cropped so you can show your hot stomach and belly chain, and the coolest part is you can even get a matching bikini set to go with it!

The fun part about this tube top is not only is it super comfy, but it has matching flare pants and the set comes in a bunch of colors. You can really live out your Y2K summer dreams in this one.
I went to lunch with my girlfriends yesterday, and my queen Lauren asked what she should wear this summer. I jokingly said you could check TIGG, but then I realized that she should totally be able to check TIGG for that info!! So while I will 100% be sharing some outfit inspo, stores, and lookbooks, later on, I thought, why not start with giving you a basic outline of how to dress this summer. And while some of it might be common sense, it's a good way to check your closet and see what staples you have or need to get. Because I get it, sometimes dressing in the summer is hard. It's so hot, and you keep going back to those jean shorts and either an oversized Sublime shirt or a Brandy Melville top from 2019. So this article is great if you're looking for some super quick new staples that you can resort to and look like the ultimate it-girl this summer without even trying. Oh, and thanks to Lauren for being my supportive queen, this one's for you, MWAH.
First up, let's talk about denim shorts. I love a jean short, like don't think I was hating on them earlier because they are 100% a closet staple. It's just all about the way you style them! And if you like wearing them as I mentioned earlier, then you do you, I just want to give you some super easy ways to expand the way you style them.
The quickest and easiest outfit with jean shorts would be with a wife-beater, a vintage zip-up jacket (Abercrombie, Juicy Couture, etc), lots of accessories, and either cowboy boots, chunky sandals, or dad sneakers. See how easy that was?
Now if you really wanna elevate your jean short looks, upgrade to Bermuda shorts. They are so ugly they are so hot! Bella Hadid is a fan of them and I am too. You can style them the exact same way I mentioned above, or you could pair them with a tank top and crochet off-the-shoulder long sleeves (which you could even DIY). And feel free to add a pair of big tinted sunglasses or small black ones.
Staying in the shorts category, they don't have to be denim. In fact, there are so many cute shorts out there that aren't denim, yet people seem to always overlook them, and IDK why. I think a pair of tight but stretchy, colorful, striped shorts are the move! Pair them with a baby tee and you have the more effortless but trendy look. Add a pair of cowboy boots or a chunky sneaker and BOOM. I love the shorts from Gimaguas, they are literally perfect for this look. You could also pair them with a tank top that has a matching color and then tie a jacket around your neck. So cute.
And if shorts aren't really your thing but you still want to show some skin, mini skirts are your best friend. In fact, you can never go wrong with mini skirts.
If you are looking for a new fit to wear to the beach, here is exactly what I would do. First, throw on your favorite bikini (preferably from Frankies) and make sure the strings on the bottoms are thin. Then add your tiniest denim mini skirts (because skirts should be the size of a belt) and pull up the bikini bottom straps out from the skirt so you can see them. It's giving Y2K is it not? Now add a wife beater that you cropped yourself, bonus points if you can see the outline of the pink bikini top. Throw on some platform flip-flops or Simon Miller bubble clogs and tada! Accessorize as you please and I encourage adding a tote and picking up a smoothie on your way.
You can even wear this fit without needing to go to the beach. Ditch the bikini and trade the flip-flops for knee-high boots and the tote for a shoulder bag. And if you aren't loving the transparency of the white beater feel free to switch it out for a baby tee.
And if you want to show less skin, trade the mini skirt for a midi skirt! I'm a proud lover of both. However, midi skirts can get flowy so I would suggest either wearing a tight top with a flowy skirt or a looser top with a more skin-tight skirt.
And when it comes to midi skirts, tube tops and baby tees are your best friend. You could go for a monochrome look with a matching tube top and flowy-ish midi skirt, or play with graphics with a casual and funky baby tee with a simple tight midi skirt. Oh and feel free to go with a maxi skirt too, those are also great when styled properly.
And on that note: tube tops! Tube tops are definitely the move this summer and they are so versatile! Dress them up or dress them down and you can pretty much pair them with anything. Here are some simple ideas that you can keep in the back of your mind when you don't know what to wear:

The most perfect and cutest tube tops you can find are from Djerf Avenue. They have a bunch of colors and they fit perfectly, miss Matilda knows what she's doing.
You might be thinking, "well I don't want to have to think about what matches this summer, I need something to throw on and go," then that's where these two pieces come in.
A flowy dress or overalls will be your savior this summer. Just grab and go! You only need one pair of really good overalls and just throw on a bikini or baby tee underneath and you are good to go.
As for a summer dress, the options are endless. You could go short you could go long you could go tight you could go flowly blah blah blah. Whether it be a vintage short and silky slip dress or a long tight one from Skims, you only have to throw on one thing. Personally, I prefer a flowy summer dress, it's just so angelic and feminine. I feel like I want to just frolic around in a field of flowers or hit up a farmers market and grab a coffee with my besties.
And when it comes to styling a dress, you could do pretty much anything. I think for a shorter summer dress a pair of cowboy boots, sunglasses, and a small vintage purse is all you need. For a long dress, I would add more jewelry and wear either a chunky sandal or flip-flop. And you can pair it with either a big or small purse.
Well, there you have it, babes. I hope you can have some ideas now for what you can wear this summer. It's my favorite season to dress for because the possibilities are endless! But like everyone else, there are days when I have to get dressed and everything I thought I knew just goes right out the window. So I know I will definitely be coming back to this article when I need to know how to style something. This new rise of it-girls is so classic and put together and I love it. They represent a girl from Stockholm with perfectly blown-out hair who loves daddy’s credit card. Picture blue jeans, white baby tee, oversized sweater in one hand, and your Birkin in the other. Honestly wish I were them.
However achieving this style is minimal and effortless, yet still carefully crafted and you need an eye for the right pieces. It’s also how you wear the clothes, so go in with the mindset that you are this it-girl. Looser dark wash pants and a white top is a great staple outfit and you can mix and match to your heart’s desire.
If you are over that super colorful and funky style and looking to evolve to a more chic and classic look, this is the place to start. But I know what you are thinking. You have nothing of this sort because you have been so caught up in micro trends that your entire closet looks like Shein’s warehouse. Gross.
But I like to think of this trend as a little more than a micro trend because of its timeless nature. Like yes, maybe this basic off-duty look will be out of style next season and fishnets and fur will be all the rave, but you literally can’t go wrong with these closet staples that this style requires. Like if you are about to tell me that a white t-shirt is so last season I’m literally shredding your clothes. Like shut up and let people be.
But on that note, this style isn’t for everyone. You might think of this as too boring or not colorful enough, in that case just take it with a grain of salt. These clothing pieces are still great closet staples that you can’t really go wrong with. However, they also perfectly fit that Stockholm it-girl look, so if that’s the vibe you are looking for, look no further.
Everyone needs a great pair of jeans and I love the look these looser pair of jeans give. It’s a very effortless yet chic look and is the perfect staple for all of your outfits. Scandi it-girls always have the perfect pair of blue jeans, and this pair isn’t too far from that.
This white top has the perfect balance between a slouchy knit and a shaped shirt that screams Stockholm. Originally I have a different ribbed top here but Zara got rid of it and right before I could buy it. Rude?!? However, if they add it back I will make sure to do a quick switch-a-roo for ya.
Okay but I love this sweater. It’s the perfect shade of creamy white and would pair perfectly with any of the pants I’ve put in this article. Plus it could be easily layered or thrown around your next or dressed up or down. The possibilities are quite endless, making this a lovely scandi it-girl staple.
First of all, never wear these pants with a belt. I don’t know who styled that but it obviously wasn’t me. So don’t do that. Instead, keep these classic pants low and baggy and pair with literally any of the shirts in this article. See that’s the great thing. You can purchase all of these items and mix and match literally all of them. These it-girls are on to something.
SYNTHETIC LEATHER BOMBER JACKET
A little less of a classic and more of a Stockholm staple. This jacket is ready to be perfectly styled in yet again, anything in this article. This jacket definitely steps up your scandi it-girl closet. Feeling chilly, just throw this bomber on!
Um, yes?!?! Like need, I say more? Everything about this coat is amazing and while it might be giving more Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, I don’t see that as a problem.
Very much Matilda Djerf, and we all know she is the ultimate Scandinavian it-girl. Love her to death. So of course, this shirt must be a staple. I mean you can’t disrespect the queen.
If you weren’t feeling the darker pants, I might suggest these. But what I suggest even more is both. Oops, I’m projecting my spending habits onto you. Sorry, but you deserve it! A closet doesn’t grow itself! Unless you know a guy… and in that case hook a sister up.

I love having my nails done. I feel like the hottest person ever. Like I literally transform into Paris Hilton while doing anything. I could literally have my hand on the stove and not even notice because I’ve been staring at these beautiful nails for the past 24 hours. However, sometimes having the coolest nails in the room can be a lot of work. I don’t know what color to get, should I get a design, are these even cute? I also love having an inspo pic. It’s not that I’m not original, I just like getting ideas and inspiration. My nails determine my mood, and they definitely show off my vibe. However, it’s not always easy finding good nail inspo. When you look it up it can be too minimal or just not giving what needed to be gave. So I have gathered up my favorite nail looks from It-Girls like Iris Law (there is a lot of her, she is a nail God), Jordan Daniels, Devon Lee Carlson, and some other super chic and stylish ladies.
Now I can only do so much, it’s up to you nail artists to see if they can take a challenge. If you want to keep it simple or on a budget, I suggest a fun colorful french tip or just a bright color. But, if you are ready to have the coolest nails in the room, these are for you.

I love both of these nails, up to you which ones you do. And again, these are super customizable so you could do any color you want. I would suggest using this as inspo and picking your favorite color. But I do love this shade of pink.
