hello world!

It might feel early to already claim that we have a Fall 2022 it-girl shoe, but I like to claim that we do, or at least according to supermodels Elsa Hosk and Bella Hadid, we do. And who is to argue with the style icons?

Bella Hadid and Elsa Hosk invited model-off-duty, so when they say to do, we do.

And recently, both models have been seen strutting the identical shoe, which tells that, of course, this shoe will become the new it girl shoe.

UNKNOWN

We all know Bella started the Sambas trend, so who's to say she won't start this one either?

Both it-girls wore the Ugg Classic Ultra Mini Platform slipper, and let me tell you, those shoes are definitely on my wishlist right now.

GETTY IMAGES

Every time the weather gets colder, Ugg makes its annual comeback, but with a different style each time, so it's no surprise that these shoes are already seen out and about.

Last year Elsa wore the Tazz, and this year she is wearing the Classic Ultra Mini Platform, which means she has declared that style as the style this season.

This year, the only shoes you need will be black leather loafers, knee-high boots, Birkenstocks, and these Uggs.

And after this, you will definitely be ahead of the trend.

Update: even Adut Akech was spotted in these shoes!

"in daily life, I don’t want to wear some elaborate outfit what I want is to be comfortable, and this look is my go-to. I love my free-city sweats (stupidly expensive but also stupidly comfortable). I really do think they are a good investment jokes aside. Most people think that comfy clothes are not worth spending money, but honestly it’s just as important to buy some good basic sweats as it is to buy a fancy dress. I like to pair my sweats with tight fitting shirts to create some shape and prevent me from looking like a blob. My favorite brand is Majestic T-Shirts, but if you’re looking for a better price Brandy Melville or Lululemon has great options. For shoes I like to keep it basic, but find some way to pair colors together. I like wearing my pink sweats with my pink Golden Goose shoes for example. These shoes in particular are great for me since they also pair well with my silver jewelry. For jewelry, I wear my Tiffany tag necklace which I never take off with white gold hoops. I think for jewelry what’s important is what flatters your skin tone best. Most people like gold but for me, it blends into my skin too easily where silver pops.

If you are like me, you probably love bags. My most loved bag ever is the Balenciaga city bag from the 2000s. I think it’s a really cute and timeless bag elevating any outfit. With it I use a wallet and while I don’t own this one yet, I’m about to order a similar one. For beauty products, in my bag I carry my Dior lip oils, a mini hairbrush, ysl travel black opium perfume, and Chanel mascara in case of emergencies. Honestly keeping these products on hand has saved me so many times, and I suggest that you do the same!"

"Most days, I don't wear makeup! I've been adamant about my skincare routine since seeing a dermatologist and prioritizing products that work as opposed to ones that are expensive and cute.

Moisturizing is a MUST and so is SPF. My current faves are La Roche-Posay and Tula. Otherwise, I can't complete my routine without a lash curl regardless of whether I wear mascara.

I'm a huge fan of blush--on the cheeks, nose, wherever--and any products that make my skin look dewier. Youth to the People is another one of my favorite brands that helps builds that base of healthy skin before makeup."

@PINKYOGl

"my name is laura (@pinkyogl on twitter). i’m a yoga instructor from california, and these are my it girl essentials. this includes rising early, hence my 5:15am alarm, and of course in turn sleeping early. i’ve included nutrition essentials such as vegan vanilla protein powder, nutritional yeast, matcha powder, almond milk, and my favorite hot sauce. pink is my favorite color because it makes me feel feminine, pretty, young, and happy, plus it’s cute to look at, so almost everything i own is pink. therefore, these essentials include but aren’t limited to pink sunglasses, pajamas, yoga blocks and mat, journal, hydro flask, apple watch band, and satin pillowcases, which protect the skin and hair. lastly, i’ve included a tongue scraper, rose quartz crystal, gold rings, black eyeliner, essential oil, and two apps that help me reach my it girl potential: pinterest and mindbody."

"one of the most important things a girl can have is a reliable skincare routine and it doesn’t have to be 20 steps! my everyday skincare routine includes caudalie vinoclean moisturizing toner, drunk elephant polypeptide cream, laneige lip mask, and supergoop unseen sunscreen. as the weather turns colder and drier i love to use the laneige water sleeping mask 1-2 times a week to keep my skin hydrated and soft. along with a skincare routine, a perfect lip combo is essential. i start with the mac lipliner in whirl, then a nude bobbi brown lipstick, topped with dior lip maximizer in light beige glossy. i can’t leave the house without a few spritz of my replica jazz club perfume and a book in hand, currently i’ve been reading play it as it lays by joan didion. my gorjana letter necklace, g rings, and luxe fitbit are another set of essentials that i can’t leave the house without. as school season begins my baggallini convertible backpack is absolutely essential for good grades and looking chic, and ofc my favorite snacks for long class days, pressed greens 3 and citrus 2 and rxbars, can’t be forgotten either. finally, an essential part of my day is my daily yoga routine which includes the best yoga mat ever from also."

@diorchive

"— too faced lip injection gloss
the absolute perfect pretty pink shimmer gloss for anyone . both glosses give an amazing plumping effect and are absolutely a day to day essential. it layers so perfectly on top of any everyday lip combo

— fenty beauty gloss bomb
absolutely gorgeous clear gloss for a simple look, amazing flavor and not too sticky, the bottle is also quite large so it’ll last a long while. my favorite shades are fussy, glass slipper and chocolit, all of their shades look amazing on all skin tones (chocolit looks especially good on darker skin tones)

— dior lip glow oil (rosewood)
honestly, the perfect universal shade, the scent is amazing and it’s so moisturizing, the scent is amazing and they have so many other shades that it’ll look perfect on everyone

— fenty beauty killawatt freestyle highlighter
perfect for literally every skin tone, especially darker skinned girls, especially the ones that love blush, so cute and small enough to just fit in any purse. they have a variety of shades, mainly gorgeous peach and pinks that suit all shades (shade trophy wife looks stunning on dark skin as well)

— essence lash princess mascara
the absolute perfect mascara, curls my lashes and makes them so dark and gorgeous, always in my bag, pair it with a lash curler or you can even do it on its own but regardless it looks stunning

— elf buffing foundation brush
my absolute favorite makeup brush, blends everything so well together, it’s a firmer brush as well so it could easily blend all of your liquid products

— laura mercier eyeshadow pencil and translucent setting powder
both of these are so perfect for touching up any makeup look on the go, so quick and easy to use and are perfect for every skin type, the setting powder lasts through my gym class with little to no reapplication and the eyeshadow sticks are so easy to use and if you’re a girl who forgets a makeup brush (like me) it’s perfect

— black girl sunscreen
the perfect sunscreen for all of my poc babes out there, blends so beautifully and has absolutely no white cast which is hard to find in sunscreen nowadays, they have a variety of formulas but all of them work astonishingly well for everyone

— replica beach walk fragrance
one of my absolute favorite fragrances to wear currently, has such a clean scent to it with some hints of coconut, absolutely recommend to literally everyone, it’s so long lasting honestly all of the replica fragrances are amazing

— facial roller
with school and clubs, the amount of sleep i get is extremely low, these facial rollers will always have me looking refreshed for the day and at the end of the day

— my year of rest and relaxation
my favorite thing to read between classes or during a free period, this book got recommended a lot and honestly i get why, it’s insanely well written

— orajel
i’m an it girl with braces and honestly, they hurt a lot, the gel gets rid of so much of the pain and definitely helps out with everything, it’s something i always have to carry with me

— blkopl foundation
this is my absolute favorite drugstore foundation, the shade range and coverage are insane and it’s so easy to layer and blend with, especially if you have a hard time finding darker shades of foundation and they have all types of formulas

— nyx butter gloss
if i had to recommend a drugstore gloss, it’s always going to be this one. from the scent to how smooth it applies to the gorgeous shades, it’s absolutely one of my favorite glosses on the planet, my current favorite shades are brownie drip and bit of honey

— vivienne westwood necklace
now, personally i believe that gold always looks stunning on darker skin tones and vivienne westwood has quickly become one of my favorite designers, a lot of her jewelry is so cute, yet casual enough to be worn on a daily basis

— hand sanitizer
after covid, especially being in a public school and such, hand sanitizer is something i always kept on me, spray on hand sanitizer for me seems like a much safer option, less contact between the skin and the bottle and they’re very often refillable

— fenty ease drop blurring skin tint
on the days i’m not feeling a full face and i just want a little even skin tone, this is my go to. the fenty shade range is incredible and this is so lightweight and stays on for so long"

"so this is what i made. I don't know how unique it is lol but I have most of these things irl so this is very honest. For autumn im really loving aviator coats- they're super comfy and heavy and perfect for cold weather plus I wear leather all year round and they're basically the winter version of a leather jacket. The headphones, purse and iphone are essentials for me and can fit in my pockets so I never leave home without them. Obviously I chose ones I felt fit my vibe the most, but irl my phone case is different. The water bottle I carry around with me whenever I'm at home because feeling hydrated it the most it-girl thing you can ever do so I basically waterboard myself every day. The eyeliner, lipbalm, nail polish and perfume are my beauty essentials- basically they make me look fairly put together and smell nice which is so important:) as basics they r also all I need to make my go-to makeup look (i like quite heavy eyeliner). The perfume I especially like because its unisex which I love and it has a very strong fall-like smell. The notebook and random shit is what I take in my bag- a bag should be an extension of ur pockets, so mine is usually full of things which don't fit (gum, lighters, wrappers, medicine, pens, notebooks ect.) I need to know I can survive for a while out of my bag. The shoes are my go-to's (im short lol) because of the platform plus the slight academic vibe which I like to add + the candle is something I cannot cope without it my room :)"

"My name’s Lily, I am a 23-years-old French girl and here’re my essentials.

I am never seen without a band tee, flare pants (my fav is from Free People) or a mini skirt (my favourite is from The Kooples). Underneath I always wear pretty lingerie made from mesh or lace. But what’s an it girl without her it bag? Mine are a red vintage Prada hobo and, my newest, a Zadig collab with Kate Moss. Add a cross necklace and some Chuck Taylor and that is my look !

When it comes to my skincare, I like to keep it minimal. My go to moisturizer is the Clinique iD hydrating jelly which has a serum incorporated. How cool is that! Then I always apply spf 50. I like to do my makeup with a Chanel blush ‘Brume d’Or‘ and the Dior lip glow. Finally, I feel complete when I get my lash lift done and apply some Lancôme mascara. This one gives you the longest lashes. A spritz of Carolina Herrera ‘Good Girl’ is the cherry on top.

I like to be organized so I always keep a black Moleskine weekly planner whith me and a fountain pen. I also like berries, listening to my favourite albums with my vintage airpods and carrying around my rose quartz. What can I say, I’m a simple girl."

"My essentials: lots of books (I love anything Eve-Babitz related), oversized blazers (thrifted), prescription retinol, mymummadeit tote bag, Notion (for work, school, and life-planning), Glossier Lash Slick mascara, Laniege Lip Treatment Balm, thick hoop earrings (my skin has a neutral undertone - I usually do gold for summer, silver for winter), Le Labo Gaiac 10 perfume (it’s the Tokyo city exclusive scent - it reminds me of petrichor, the woody smell after rain), vintage Prada bag (I drag it everywhere - it’s like Mary Kate treats her Birkins), classic black Moleskine notebook (I write all my random lists in here and do ‘morning pages’ - 3 pages of stream-of-consciousness writing, which help clear your mind), Coqui Coqui bath oil (for nightly baths - transports me back to Tulum), black coffee (or oat milk cortados - all morning), Tarte Shape Tape concealer, Rael sheet masks, Dior Addict Lip Glow, ballet shoes (I do pilates or Ballet Beautiful workouts - it helps to dress the part), Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter (vanilla apricot), gua sha (and jade rolling, ice rolling, and facial cupping), Sephora Collection Glow Body Cream (the secret to a glowing body), Andalou Brightening Vitamin C BB Beauty Balm Sheer SPF 30 (the secret to glowing skin), Nécessaire The Body Wash in eucalyptus, Topicals Faded Serum, Le Labo Hinoki Body Cream, international Vogues"

"To begin ! These are some of my personal ‘it girl’ must haves, starting with the adidas originals. They’re my fave shoes, because of their versatility and how they go with so many outfits - not to mention how comfortable they are. As we’re approaching winter and the summer glow fades away *cue the tears* the BaliBody bronzing serum is my ultimate recommendation for all my ‘it girlies’. This liquid gold is a must to remain moisturised and radiant during the drying winter months, I top this off with the charlotte tilbury highlighter for the ultimate glow. The last it girl must I’ll talk about is a silk pillow, they’re so good a keeping you hair moisturised as it doesn’t take out moisture as other pillowcases might do. Most of all however, you don’t need to buy any or all these products to be an it girl. It’s a mindset not a product ! lots of love, @jetsetbrvnette"

"I am absolutely obsessed with each item I chose to include as my “it-girl essentials”! Starting off with makeup and hair products, the Gabrielle by Chanel perfume is my signature scent, the Quai hair oil makes my hair look super healthy and shiny, and the Dior lip oil is so hydrating. As for food, coffee&almonds are two of my favorite things. You will never see me without an iced latte in hand! The matching pajama set, yoga mat, journal, and podcast are all things that help me relax. Pilates and journaling really help me clear my mind. Finally, the Miu Miu wallet is so cute and fits so much!"

@MIUMIUG1RL

We all know and love Stockholm fashion. It's simple and chic but still young and effortless.

However, if it's your first time trying to shop with this aesthetic in mind, you might be a little lost on what you need.

Or maybe you are familiar with the outfits but you just don't know where to find the pieces you are looking for.

Either way, this article is for you.

Below I've listed eight clothing items that will 100% give you that Stockholm look.

Or, feel free to take each piece and turn it into your own look that's simply Stockhom-inspired.

Because that's just as hot.

striped knit sweater - zara

I have been eyeing this sweater ever since I first saw it, and I'm pretty sure it won't be long until I make the purchase. It would look so cute with a pair of jeans and totally give that effortless and slouchy look, but still looking super put together.

boat neck cropped sweater - pull&bear

This little sweater is the moment. I love a tight long sleeve, and this really fits my desire, and it's super on-trend.

purl-knit nautical striped sweater - pull&bear

Another great striped sweater because you can never have too many. It's a different variation from the first sweater I mentioned, which is perfect if you wanted a black and white striped sweater but wanted a more classic look.

'90s mid-rise bootcut jean - urban outfitters

The perfect pair of black jeans to pair with said sweaters. Or just to have as a closet staple because they go with everything.

fine-knit collared sweater - h&m

I really like this neck cut, and I think it gives a regular sweater that extra something. Plus, the loose arms are great when it's chilly but not cold. And a sweater with this shape and length would look perfect with your favorite gold necklaces and bracelets.

fluid knit sweater - zara

Ok, so the next three items all go together to make one outfit but feel free to mix and match. It's a classic layered look but still simple, classy, and on-trend. I love this sweater.

white baby tee - brandy melville

So, wear this white baby tee underneath the sweater above and pair it with the jeans below. I chose this baby tee because it is the perfect length for what we need to achieve. It still shows a bit of your lower stomach and shows a little bit underneath the sweater. Perfect.

addison low rise relaxed jeans - reformation

I love the look of these jeans. Especially with the two pieces above. The low and baggy look is perfect, but the jeans still have a shape and don't look completely oversized, which is key in finding the perfect pair of low and baggy jeans.

Yesterday I went to Erewhon to try their new smoothie of the month type thing. Last month was Hailey Bieber's skin smoothie which I reviewed and created a recipe so you can make it at home, and this month is Rebecca Leigh's Summer Mermaid smoothie. I also already created a recipe, so you don't have to miss out.

For starters, the smoothie was $18. I think I have come accustomed to paying a lot for smoothies, but this one was definitely a bit overpriced. However, I can understand where the pricing came from.

The smoothie is a blue base that is poured into a cup lined with pink coconut cream and then topped with more coconut cream, pitaya powder, and granola.

I do have to say the presentation was incredible. Out of all of their smoothies, this one is by far the prettiest and most Instagramable. So the drink already earns some points because of this.

Let's dive into the ingredients. I broke down the benefits of each ingredient in my recipe, so if you are interested in that, feel free to check it out. But for now, I'm just going to sum it up.

This smoothie is really great for your skin. The tocos and collagen build your skin from the bottom up, and it features coconut cream, a healthy fat that is great for your skin.

It also has a nice balance of protein, fat, and carbs, so it is a solid drink. Plus, it contains so many great vitamins and nutrients, which I love and require in my smoothie.

The price definitely comes from the ingredients, such as the sea moss, which you can read here if you want to learn more about.

Here is the big note: many of these ingredients are flavorless, meaning the main fruit will overpower the taste.

In this case, the pineapple is the main flavor of the smoothie. In fact, if you want to know exactly how this smoothie tastes, I think it tastes almost identical to the Pink Flamingo smoothie at Nekter Juice Bar.

Personally, I like my smoothies a bit thicker, but that is just a personal preference, and I wouldn't necessarily call this smoothie thin.

I also want to make another personal note. I like my smoothies with a more nutty, green, and vanilla taste, and I like when the fruit base is a berry. Those always taste the best to me.

However, this smoothie is not that. It features a tropical fruit with nothing to overpower that, and it also features coconut water ( I usually prefer nut milk).

So here's the thing.

Was this smoothie bad? No. I just think it was a little too simple tasting and not my first choice regarding my smoothie options. I think it would have been a bit nicer if it had one more added flavor to compliment or contrast the pineapple.

But if you love that tropical-tasting smoothie, then you will definitely love this one.

On that note, I would love for you to make it at home to see what you think about it. Or just use this smoothie as inspiration and customize it to your liking.

I would take the recipe and sub the pineapple for blueberries, use only oat milk instead of coconut water and oat milk, and use less liquid in general for a thicker smoothie.

But then again, I pretty much just named a totally different smoothie.

But I would recommend that you try it out and see. It might be your new favorite thing.

Picture the Olsen twins with their overflowing worn-out Birkins.

Or the it-girl who pulls everything and anything out of her purse.

Picture: organized chaos.

The best part is, you can be the it-girl with everything in her bag, but you can keep it super personal too. It can be super organized with pouches for everything or more chaotic where you sort of throw it all in there, but it's not messy, and it works. Whatever works best for you.

Normally when I'm traveling, I'm the girl with the pouches and the super organized and sectioned bag, but the rest of the time, I just throw it all in there.

Because it isn't junky. Everything is useful and hot. Like, I'm not talking about pulling receipts and pencils out of your purse. I'm talking about pulling out Dior Lip Oil and your travel size Avène Thermal Spring Water.

So, to be that girl, here's what you need:

Starting off, you need a medium-sized bag. Bonus points if it has pockets.

These are just some cute medium-sized bags in case that's a size you don't own. However, I totally suggest using your favorite bag if the size requirement works.

Now you obviously need your essentials:

Now, if you noticed the pattern above, just because the items are essentials doesn't mean they can't be the cutest version. Like a designer key chain is chic, is it not?

It's all about elevating!

Here are my favorite key chains if you need 'em:

And here are some it-girl-worthy wallets:

And let me just suggest some phone cases, in case you were looking for a new one:

Okay, so everything above was things that you probably keep in your purse as the bare minimum. All of these chic additions that we are about to go through are all bonus points that will make you become the it-girl with everything in her bag.

what does an it-girl have in her bag?

1. LIP GLOSS

An obvious essential. You can use your favorite lip gloss, but we probably have the same favs. These ones are mine. They all make you lips look so good and the don't ever leave you dry.

2. HAND MOISTURIZER

Expensive hand cream? Yes, please.

3. HAND SANITIZER

Germs aren't cute! But these hand sanitizers are.

4. LIP BALM

Similar to what I said about the lip gloss, these are my favorite lip balms. These are great for when you don't want a sticky gloss and need some extra moisture.

5. SUNGLASSES

I am so obsessed with Celine sunglasses you don't even know. But the second option stays more in budget.

6. FACE MIST

The only one you should ever buy.

7. HAIR TIES / CLAW CLIP

Some more essentials, again feel free to use what you already have for these. We each have our favs.

8. MASCARA

My favorite perfumes. The first and last ones are my go-to.

9. TRAVEL-SIZED PERFUME

So you can always smell the best! And like the best, with the best.

10. COMPACT MIRROR

Whip out Chanel mirror, girlfriend.

11. HEADPHONES

Choose your character.

And there it is! What you should keep in your bag to be the it-girl who has everything in there. Stay tuned for my personal "what's in my bag" coming soon.

Drunk Elephant is a skincare brand that you've probably seen on your social media. The products are super photo ready and this would definitely be considered an it-girl brand. It isn't the most affordable skincare line on the market, but that's what makes it even more desirable.

I mean, I see these products in mood boards all the time.

So we get they are super cute, but are they worth it?

Well, I took one for the team and ordered products suggested by you guys and popular ones I have seen all over social media.

Here's what I thought.

First of all, the packaging was cute, and I liked how everything broke down how to use the products and what you should pair them with. Their website is also super helpful if you want to know what cream works best with what serum and all that jazz.

However, one thing that annoyed me was that they wouldn't give me my first-time discount code until I completed my first order. So no discount, bleh.

Anyways, here's a little bit about what I ordered:

T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial™

RATING: 8.5/10

"Babyfacial™ is a pro-quality AHA/BHA “facial” that resurfaces to reveal greater clarity, improved skin texture and tone, and a more youthful-looking radiance."

You wash your face, apply this facial, and rinse it off after 20 minutes. Then you apply the tiny oil it comes with, and you are good to go. Except I also followed up with one of their moisturizers.

The thing about this product is it really is a great product, and my skin did look pretty good the next day. However, it promised A LOT, and while it was a really great product that I would buy again, I'm not 100% if it delivered everything it promised.

After using this "facial," I did notice my skin was softer and felt less textured, but I wouldn't say I woke up with flawless glowing skin. But it was improved.

However, since this is a once-a-week product, I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt and assuming that after about four weeks of consistent treatment, my skin will look noticeably better. Only time will tell, so I will stop back with an update in a few weeks if I notice any amazing changes.

T.L.C. Framboos™ Glycolic Night Serum

RATING: 10/10

"A high-tech AHA/BHA gel that resurfaces dull, congested skin by gently lifting away dead skin cells, dramatically improving the appearance of skin’s tone and texture, fine lines, wrinkles, and pores."

Now, this product is 100% worth it. After one use, I became obsessed with this serum's overall feeling and result.

After one night, my skin was softer, smoother, and more even-toned.

You should use this serum every night and then the Babyfacial instead once a week. This might be a killer combination; however, I haven't had these products long enough to figure that out.

But with the amazing results I got after just one use of this product, I can't wait to see what my skin will look like after using it consistently.

Lala Retro™ Whipped Cream

RATING: 7/10

"This multifaceted rescue cream provides replenishing barrier support by reinforcing skin’s acid mantle and defending against the effects of everyday stressors."

This is a great moisturizer, and I really love it, but I'm not 110% sure I'd buy it again.

Will I use this entire thing? Yes. Does it moisturize my skin? Yes. Are there other products that can give the same effect for the same or cheaper price? Yes.

So that's where my review of this product gets a little unsure. Because there are so many different kinds of moisturizers out there, it is really hard to find the perfect one. This product locks in the moisture with the other serums offered by Drunk Elephant. But I haven't noticed an amazing quality that makes it stand out from all the other great moisturizers out there.

I will say it feels really nice on your skin and doesn't leave a greasy look or feel, which gives it points. Oh, and I also love the pump packaging it comes in.

So my takeaway is when it is paired with one of Drunk Elephant's serums, the cream does wonders. But when paired with your skincare routine featuring other products, it feels pretty average.

Protini™ Polypeptide Cream

RATING: 8.5/10

"This protein moisturizer combines signal peptides, growth factors, supportive amino acids, and pygmy waterlily for immediate improvement in the appearance of skin’s tone, texture, and firmness."

I admit I accidentally bought the smaller version of this product, and I'm a little upset about that.

This morning I kept it super simple because I wanted this cream to be the show's star. I rinsed my face with water and applied a Niacinamide serum, this cream, and sunscreen.

This morning my skin felt great from the night serum, and I applied this cream, not noticing much. However, it's now around 2:30 pm, and I just felt my skin, and oh my gosh, is it soft.

If my skin right now is a result of this cream, then let me tell you. Your skin will be softer than ever. However, it didn't really help with texture or tone, but it definitely moisturized my skin.

So if you have dry skin and that is your only problem, this moisturizer is for you. But if you deal with some other skin difficulties, just expect soft skin from this product.

my drunk elephant review:

Overall, I liked the products.

If you are going to leave this review only by purchasing one thing, I would recommend the T.L.C. Framboos™ Glycolic Night Serum. And if you are wondering which moisturizer you should get between the two, I think that is a more personal question. If you want a basic moisturizer, go with Lala Retro™ Whipped Cream. But if you want one that makes your skin super soft, go with Protini™ Polypeptide Cream.

Honestly, I think I would buy all the products again. But maybe only the peptide moisturizer instead of the whipped one. I would definitely buy the night serum, and I think the Babyfacial is a fun, once-a-week additive to my skincare routine.

After a while and incorporating these products into my daily routine, I'll let you know my whole skincare routine, so stay tuned!

Fall is just around the corner, and we all can't wait. It's an amazing time of year filled with big knit sweaters, oversized trench coats, high black boots, and one of my favorite things in the world: pumpkin spice.

So normally, I would do my fall shopping once the season is here and I'm totally feeling all the vibes, but this year I had a new idea in mind.

I need to get some basics and essentials BEFORE fall.

I'm not talking about buying the perfect fall sweater right now; I'm talking about the items that you need early to set you up for the most seasonal fall ever.

For example, when Autumn comes, pumpkin spice lattes come right with it. And I, for one, absolutely adore pumpkin spice lattes. Like, I buy the creamers the second I can, and I drink them for as long as possible.

But what makes your pumpkin spice latte feel even more fall-like is a perfect fall mug to drink it in. See what I mean? This mug is a great purchase to grab before the season, so you are ready to enjoy this delicacy of a drink right when you can.

fall mugs

And for my girlies who drink iced coffee all year round (aka me), these are some iced coffee glasses that are still perfect for that iced PSL.

I understand that the second cup also might be a lil cheesy, but it's a vibe, and it's more of an ironic thing. A very festive it girl, ya know?

new candles

You can never have too many candles, and it's time to start stocking up for the change of season. Because this is candle season. I also love the scents offered this time of year, so it is 100% the best time to buy candles. I think these are something you can get ahead of time because it's like you have backup and are ready to light them the second the weather drops.

I could honestly do an entire article on candles you need for fall because my list goes on and on.

Now I know I just said I wasn't going to talk about sweaters, and I'm not (kinda), but I don't think there is any harm in having one sweater ready for fall. Because one day, the weather will get cold, and it will be so exciting until you realize you don't have a super cute sweater to go out in because it's been all about summer fashion up until yesterday.

So feel free to choose one of these super simple but super chic sweaters to kick off your fall. These would look great, paired with some baggy blue jeans and your favorite sneakers (or Uggs once it really is fall), or a black mini skirt and knee-high black boots.

your first sweater of the season

I'm really into a more minimal it-girl look (my Pinterest @skyhaarsma really shows the vibe if you wanna see the vibe), and these sweaters fit this aesthetic perfectly.

Now this one is not necessary, but if you happened to be looking for a sign to purchase a new coffee machine, this is it. If I haven't talked about PSL enough in this article, let me just mention it one more time.

In order to have a great latte, you need a great machine.

I personally have this Nespresso machine, and my whole family is obsessed. We are probably the best customer at the Newport Beach Nespresso Boutique. I bet they have my name written down somewhere.

Not only does this machine make great coffee all year round, but they offer pumpkin spice coffee pods which are the greatest thing ever. Pair it with a splash of non dairy pumpkin spice creamer and you have fall in a mug. Or if you are feeling fancy, you can make my healthy vegan pumpkin cream cold brew. Stay tuned for the recipe coming this fall.

And there you have it. The perfect fall starter kit for before fall even starts.

I know we all can't wait for the season so make sure you are staying updated on TIGG, because there are so many it-girl fall articles to come.

It’s back to school time, and you know what that means. Spending time in the classroom and looking like the hottest and smartest girl in school. It’s a tough job walking down the hall and making everyone turn and whisper. And it’s not for the faint of heart.

With school coming into session again, it means shopping but this time with a different agenda in mind.

Here’s the thing though, you know that back-to-school shopping means notebooks and pencils, I’m not talking about that part.

I’m giving you back-to-school essentials that will make sure you look like the most model off-duty girl in school. These staples are super simple and effortless, so you will always be ready and looking like the it girl.

telescopic mascara

This is the new mascara that you need. It makes your eyelashes super long, and all the hot girls are using it right now.

glossier cloud paint

With fall and winter right around the corner, it doesn’t hurt to add some color to your checks to keep that summer glow all year long. This one is great because it’s super quick and easy and leaves a great look. Plus, it’s Glossier, so people will know you you know what’s up.

la roche-posay acne spot treatment

School means stress, and stress means acne. Get your hands on this product and have flawless skin all year.

alo water bottle

How to tell everyone that you are THAT GIRL.

adidas sneakers

These are the hottest sneakers ATM. So stroll into school, showing everyone how on-trend you are!

cactus plant flea market sweatshirt

Does this sweatshirt scream that you are iconic? Yes. Yes, it does. It’s super cute, super on brand, and super comfy. It’s a 3-in-1. The perfect school staple, especially for when the weather gets colder.

airpods max

Duh.

la colombe coffee

I love that you can just grab this coffee in the morning and rush over to the school and still manage to look like you are better than everyone else. If I saw someone with this drink in the first period, I would immediately know she has taste.

casetify star phone case

This case 100% matches this new it girl vibe going around. So get on it because I already did. LOL.

the perfect notebook

Literally every single it girl on the planet has this notebook. And every girl who knows what’s up knows about this notebook. I mean, scroll on mood board Twitter for five seconds and you will find this notebook.

I’ve recently been really getting into skincare and trying to learn more and more about it and about my own skin. And I’ve also been noticing the most popular yet efficient skincare products used by all the hot girls on our TikTok for you page. So between social media and the Beauty Secrets from Vogue, I’ve managed to make a list of what seems to be the skincare essentials of it girls.

Youth to the People Kale + Green Tea Cleanser

I first heard about this cleanser from Kaia Gerber, and ever since then, I've seen it all over Pinterest and TikTok. It's a great face wash, and you feel like a total it girl. It’s gentle and doesn’t dry out your skin, leaving you fresh and clean.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream

Everyone I know (including myself) who has bought this product has ended up buying it again. It feels lightweight when you're putting it on and dries nicely while still leaving a glowing and moisturized look. It's super hydrating, and I think it’s a great product whether you have dry skin or normal skin.

Supergood Glow Sunscreen

I love this sunscreen. It's tinted and leaves you with the dewiest, glowiest, and flawless skin ever. It's the perfect product to finish off your skincare routine. Plus, it's super lightweight and doesn’t even feel like sunscreen, but you are still getting that SPF 40.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

You have been living under a rock if you haven’t seen or heard of this product yet. It really does work and leaves you with super glossy and moisturized lips.

The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm

This is the face wash for you if you tend to have irritated skin. It’s super calming and soothing, and the oat is a great ingredient for moisturizing and cleansing.

PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash

For all my girls with Acne, this is the face wash for you. I’ve heard so many good things about this product and learned that it really does help with Acne.

Cocokind Ceramide Barrier Serum

I have heard great things about this product and that it is super nourishing. I love it because it helps repair and supports your skin barrier, which is the most important thing in skincare, no matter your goals.

Laneige Cream Skin Toner

This is for you if you were looking for a new toner that adds extra moisture to your routine.

Caudalíe Radiance Serum

Who doesn’t want that extra kick of radiance? I know I’m always looking for that in skincare because it gives your face that effortless glow. This product specializes in that and makes your skin look great.

Eau Thermale Avène Restorative Protective Cream

The mist is also amazing, but I think this product is a better investment and worth the money. It's great if you have sensitive skin because it restores and protects without irritating your skin.

Youth to the People Mandelic Acid + Superfood Unity Exfoliant

Great ingredients for great results. It's gentle but efficient and a nice exfoliant that doesn’t strip your skin completely.

Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream

I’m not always sure if eye creams are worth the money or if they should just be skipped. But if you are going to get an eye cream, this is the one to get. Vitamin C and collagen are just what you're under eyes need to brighten them and make them look even younger.

Paulas Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant

I love this product. This is the toner for you if you want to help your textured skin. It’s really exfoliating and evens out your skin.

The Ordinary Niacinamide

A great product for blemishes, and everyone loves it.

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic Acid is a really important ingredient for your skin, which is why I love this product. It plumps your skin and helps with fine lines.

Rhode Peptide Glazing Serum

Miss Hailey did know what she was doing when creating this product. I love it because rather than needing a bunch of different serums with different important ingredients, this one offers it all in one. It has everything I mentioned above, like Niacinamide and Hylaroinicc Acid, but it also has peptides and oil that are great for your skin.

As you probably know by now, Hailey Bieber released a smoothie with Erewhon after launching her new skincare brand, Rhode.

I’ve been seeing so many people talk about the smoothie and swoon over it, so I wanted to try it myself and see if it's actually as life-changing as people describe it.

So I drove over to Erewhon and bought this super cute pink delight for $17. That part isn’t super cute, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. Anyways, let’s get straight to the point.

First of all, it tastes like a very simple strawberry smoothie. If you want a smoothie for flavor, this is not the one I would order from here. This smoothie is all about the ingredients. And these super cool featured ingredients don’t have much taste, so, understandably, the smoothie has a pretty generic and simple taste.

I did notice a hint of a flavor that I’m not sure what it is, and I don’t really love it.

This smoothie features ingredients like hyaluronic acid, collagen and sea moss which have great skin benefits. It also includes avocado, which is less fancy but still super great for your skin. And when you buy this smoothie, you aren’t buying it for a great smoothie; you're buying it for that.

So basically, if you want a smoothie for the flavor, I would 100% order a different one, but if you are ordering a smoothie for skin benefits. I would 100% order this one.

And the thing about this drink is that you can totally make it yourself at home. In fact, I created the exact recipe, so you don't have to miss out.

Overall, a simple smoothie, but the flavor is not worth the price, and I think just having a healthy diet will probably help your skin the same amount this smoothie would.
