The Gucci Cruise show took place yesterday at the Tate Modern in London, which is different from its classic Italian roots and locations.
Creative director Sabato de Sarno created looks for the modern it-girl in this beautiful show, with beautiful pieces, proving that ballet flats, micro shorts, and oversized jackets are here to stay.
The guests featured it girls like Devon Lee Carlson and Alexa Chung and models like Lila and Kate Moss and the runway looked like it was in a garden. A garden that's in a greenhouse in Kensington and Chelsea to be more specific.
Violet Hume, nepo-baby-daughter-of-90s-top-model Kirsty Hume, had two looks in the show - and I'm not totally sure but I think she was the only model who did? She was part of the previous Gucci campaign so she is definitely turning into quite the Gucci girl.
And on the note of nepo baby models, Lila Moss wore one of my favorite looks of the night. Her matching yellow set paired with platform Gucci loafers and a fresh tan was everything and she was glowing. My most favorite look of the night though has to go to Devon. The denim shorts, white tank, and oversized denim jacket - such a classic and never fails. Plus with the pointed sling backs? Sold.
As for the actually runway looks, I loved the baggy denim and button up shirts and the sunglasses are a must have.
I was also in love with the hair and makeup. Super natural and simple, which is definitely my favorite type of look; it looks good on everyone and it just looks so good in general.
And if you are looking for your next outfit to wear out, Camille Charriere is your inspiration. A timeless look that never fails: white top, blue jeans, and blazer. And elevate it with a pointed kitten heel or slingback and a chic bag and you've got yourself the perfect dinner look, or in this case the perfect front row look.
