When the queen, Gisele Bundchen, makes a smoothie it's only in order that we jump on board right away. In this case scenario, she creates a peanut butter and jelly-inspired drink featuring coconut meat, acai, and some other health powders. It also features a cup lined with almond butter and elderberry glaze, both of which are great for the completion - which makes sense. I mean, have you seen Gisele's glow?

Now, let's get into the good parts about whipping up this drink.

Lucky for us I have inside sources and managed to get the exact recipe from Erewhon so you can perfectly recreate this smoothie in your own kitchen and can ditch the crazy lines and parking garages. Plus, this smoothie mostly features ingredients you will find in your own kitchen (except for the elderberry glaze mixture and lucuma, but luckily, that isn't crucial to the base of the smoothie).

Instructions:

  1. Start by making the Elderberry Glaze by mixing elderberry syrup, butterfly pea powder, and simple syrup. If you are avoiding refined sugars and don't want to use a simple syrup, you can use a sweetener of your choice; the texture just might be different.
  2. Set aside the Elderberry Glaze mixture.
  3. Combine the smoothie ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend in high until smooth.
  4. In your serving glass, line the cup with a drizzle of almond butter and Elderberry Glaze to create a pretty lining.
  5. Pour your smoothie into your finished glass and enjoy!

Fashion blogs have always been my favorite thing to read, since like forever. I’m subscribed to all the magazines. My tabs are always full of articles about Bella Hadid or Kourtney Kardashian’s new matcha recipe. I eat that crap up. But I was always annoyed when I opened a fashion blog. Instead of getting the scoop on Devon Lee Carlson or the new SSENSE sale, it was some old person I never heard about or some crazy designer that only makes clothes for the elite.
