We all know her, we all envy her.
The 26-year-old reality TV sensation turned baby mama, Kylie Jenner, has once again proved that she's still the it girl. With her recent designer looks at Paris Fashion Week, she is who everyone's talking about.
Her toned-down, elegant era of fashion has been the subject of speculation since Jenner separated from ex-partner, Travis Scott; finding a new beau in renowned rising actor Timothée Chalamet. Her blossoming relationship seems to have reflected on her outlook on fashion, as we've started to see a sophistication and 'quiet luxury' to her wardrobe in recent months. I don't know about you, but whatever Chalamet is doing, he's brought out a new Kylie era and I think it's her best one yet.
Haven't seen her Fashion Week lookbook yet or simply want to gaze upon her glory again? Read ahead, as I'll be breaking each of her looks down to hair, makeup, and even not-so baby Stormi too.
A shimmering spectacle. Sequins clung from head to toe for the Margiela show, and stood side by side with sister Kim, the pair were show-stoppingly gorgeous. Kylie was seen in a silver-fitted maxi dress paired with white heels and sheer elbow-length gloves. The wet hair look, that the Kardashian-Jenner clan has made their staple in the past few years, provided a fresh out-of-water look to complete the mermaid mode.
We need to talk about @makeupbyariel's stunning work, because the mastery it takes to create the balance between natural and glam, but also adding a subtle pop of colour, whilst achieving the essence of a mermaid?! I mean come
on Ariel, tell us how you did it.
A strapless, floor grazing ensemble paired with a long, feathered cape made by Maison Valentino himself; what else could be more eye catching? One answer: Stormi wearing the exact same thing.
The pair graced the streets in style, Stormi with big smiles and big feathered shawl, and a coordinated black ensemble with Kylie. She clutched a tiny Valentino bag, gold hoops, and proudly matched her mum in sleek shades. Their matching outfits truly made me smile when Jenner swept Stormi into her arms, showcasing the tiny red
bottoms on the trendy toddler's feet.
The Gaultier makeup is her most natural yet, with the rise of the makeup free look, courtesy of Pamela Anderson, we're finally moving to an age where women are embracing their natural beauty and enhancing features with minimal makeup. Simply using a thin foundation and concealer, with slightly darkened eyes and highlighter, it really accentuates Jenners youthful glow that most of us will, no doubt, try to recreate.
A Jean Paul Gaultier corset draped in cream tulle from top to bottom; exhibiting a brand new Kylie. The sheer fabric clung to the structural mini dress underneath, creating a multi layered gown that was the staple of the show. While I adore this look with the Thierry Mugler-esque corset, draped fabric and fresh faced look, for me, the shoes just aren't it. The Jenners shoe game has been on point for her fashion week fits for years, and I have to say the plastic, pearl-toed stilletoes don't work for me. Call me picky, but they simply don't go with this look (sorry Kylie!) *note from Sky: wait I kinda love the shoes with this look?! comment down below what you think of the pearl pumps and this look 🙂
Cowboy boots are trending again, and I for one am totally here for it. These neutral folded-over knee highs were the statement of this outfit. Showcasing a baggy strapless number that juxtaposes the shoes, along with a delicate set of dainty bracelets.
The hair and makeup, once again, enhance her dark features, and the wet hair look slicks back her brunette locks to display her glowing skin and simple earrings.
Red has always been one of Kylie's best colours, as the rouge mini dress, clutch bag and bow heels paired with her dark hair and sunglasses, create an eye catching look. With Stormi also attending, it only seemed fitting to have her in a matching red outfit, a simple shirt, bottoms and jumper tied across her shoulders, showcasing that monochromatic may be making a comeback.
Kylie started the week off strong, with a classic all-black bodycon piece, with black sunglasses and a slicked back bun to complete the look. The dress featured off-the shoulder transparent fabric that replicated the skirt, a recurring theme within most of her outfits. Louboutins are a must when at fashion week, as she was seen wearing the iconic heels with almost every look. I mean, who can blame her?
The bralette and oversized outer-layer combo never fails, especially for Kylie. A beautiful velvet set matched with black Louboutins brings out her tan skin and beige palette makeup. Statement silver studs were her only piece of
jewelry, as this look needs no embellishments.
And finally, her most recent fashion, courtesy of Instagram. The pictures show Jenner strutting her stuff through the corridors of the Jaquemus show; and once again, a red revelation. Square-toed abstract stilettos, red tights and a fluffy coat that's simply to die for, was belted at the waist to show off her figure.
Kylie Jenner remains to be one of our generations style icons. I for one will be incorporating her new fresh-faced glow into my makeup routine, and my bank account emptied from her new line of cosmetics. And I cannot wait
to see what fabulous fit she wears next!
