Something I noticed as I share all these pieces is that once you start bundling up with coats and boots, the line between boho and western gets a little fuzzy. Suede and fringe can go either way, but I do feel there is a bit more feminine energy in the bohemian looks. Messy, loose Stevie Nicks curls, Moroccan tapestry patterns, long gold necklaces, and a head-turning brown boot. That’s a winter look to get behind. The key is also the accessories. The head scarves, the big-throw-over-your-shoulder scarves, and hobo bags that you can hold in your hand (because nothing is more annoying than a shoulder bag constantly falling off your shoulder because it’s over a giant coat). And if you are team sunglasses year-round, you can always wear your favorite pair. I’m really obsessed with this look that features jacket #2; everything about it is beautiful. I also love this sweater (#5) and the slip dress underneath (#6), but I personally wouldn’t style it together. I would have done jeans with that sweater and then the brown shearling coat (#1) with the slip dress. And I think that dress needs a pair of heels. The price range for this wishlist is all over the place, so there is something for everyone, or maybe one or two things to ask a loved one next month *wink*.
- Susanna Chow Carrie Shearling Coat - For the past two months, all I have thought about is shearling coats, and if I had to buy one right now, this would be it. The neckline and shoulders seem very flattering, and it just looks so warm and cozy. I’d wear it with a thin scarf, bootcut jeans, and heeled boots. Current fav winter look right there.
- Embroidered Kimono ZW Collection - I already touched on how much I’m in love with this look a little bit, but styling aside (because sometimes you have to look past the great styling and hair team), this jacket is so chic. If I saw a girl wearing this on the street or stepping into a holiday party, I would immediately be obsessed with her.
- Bracelet Hobo Bag - This Chloe bag is honestly a great year-round bag, but I especially love it this winter because we all know now is not the season for a shoulder bag. The gold details make this a great accessory, and it would pair beautifully with any of these looks in The Wishlist.
- Chain Necklace with Pod Pendant - This long necklace would look so chic over a knit sweater. I’m picturing a cream colored one with messy hair. Ugh, ja’dore!
- V-Neck Knit Sweater - My finger is hovering over the checkout button for this sweater because I love it so much. And I don’t even like V-necks, but something about this is speaking to me. In all honesty, I’ll probably send out this newsletter and then buy it immediately. So do as I do and as I say!
- 100% Silk Long Slip Dress - Such a great holiday dress to pair with said shearling coat or another coat of your choosing. I love a lace neckline, and this shade of deep green looks good on everyone.
- Wool Cashmere Scarf - The scarf’s design really caught my eye, and if you like patterns, this is for you. It’s not too flashy, though, so it could appeal to everyone. But a cashmere scarf is total self-luxury, and this would make a great Christmas gift if you have the budget for it.
- Fire Nights Suede Shawl - Shawls are great to throw on at home while you cozy up with a hot coffee and watch the snow fall outside, or layer this over a sweater/tight long sleeve and under a bigger coat.
- Western Wally Boot - This is what I meant when I said the line between boho and western can get a little blurry in the winter. Although this shoe literally has ‘Western’ in the name, to me it should be styled with a slip dress and messy hair. Please do not take this pointed-toe suede shoe and go western with it.
- The Rodeo Jeans - Tight bootcut jeans are a must for winter. Having something tight to your leg helps you stay warm, and you can wear your socks and boots comfortably underneath, because I am still not on board with the boots over skinny jeans. This is a much better option.
- Staple Slouch Socks - Love a slouchy sock. These are great for staying cozy at home or for poking out of your shoes. Remeber when you used to think socks were the worst gifts in the world? Well, you know you’ve become an adult when this would make the perfect stocking stuffer.
- Carrie Fringe Wool Long Coat - Chic.
- Edrika Suede Slouchy Booties - Everyone loves an Isabel Marant shoe, so of course, this one is a must. And that gold detail is so eye-catching, I love it.
