hello world!

My bestie boo Lauren requested that I make a lookbook with these fun headbands that I recently purchased, so here it is! This is sorta a different take on my usual lookbooks because it's more outfit inspo because the baby tee and pants are vintage and not for sale. However, all the accessories are! So it's kinda a half and half.

Nevertheless, this fit is still super cute, and it's great because you can make it your own. Use a cool vintage baby tee you already own and pair of your favorite pants and boom! And if you don't have a favorite vintage baby tee, this is your sign to buy the one you have been eyeing on Depop for the past week.

Also, this look features the new it shoe. Bella Hadid is always strutting around in these, and you should too. Personally, I just wear my Superstars that I got in like 6th grade. They are honestly my new favorite shoe again... oh how the tables have turned...

Plus, these glasses are similar to miss Devon's and Bella is always using this headband, so you can't say it's not an it-girl look. And this bag is giving so many vibes it's perfect.

And honestly, I'm kinda feeling these jeans. They are definitely a pair that you have to wear super confidently, but I'm all for a low-rise-Paris-Hilton-pair-of-jeans.

Anywaysssss, shop the accessories down below and make it your own xxx

the girls that get it, get it. and the girls that don't, don't.

This lookbook is my take on Bella Hadid's recent model-off-duty looks. Her eye-turning fashion week outfits have been described as almost grandma-like, but she really makes it work. She's been wearing thin glasses instead of contacts and mid-calf Vivienne Westwood skirts. And honestly, she looks so good and it really fits her vibe. She doesn’t have a stylist so it's obvious she has a major eye for fashion.

The skirt I used for the lookbook is affordable and totally giving Bella Hadid. It's that awkward yet effortless mid-calf length and has that cargo vibe that is all the rage right now. And it's such a simple color that you can style it in so many ways. And its length allows a lot of shoe freedom. You can wear a knee-length boot, a dad sneaker, a kitten heel, and the list goes on.

The shirt is a subversive basic from With Jean’s latest collection and looks great with this skirt. It's simple, but it's also not. I recently saw Sav Hudson wearing a shirt like this with a trendy grandma skirt, so she definitely inspired the top half of the outfit. And the silver accents are cool-toned which is why you need a navy blue skirt like this one.

And I am loving the vibe these shoes are giving. It's effortlessly cool and perfect for running errands around NYC. Comfy and cute. It's a win-win. And pairing it with black ankle socks kinda says “I don’t care” but really you know you look super stylish and everyone will look at you and then wear black ankle socks with their sneakers the next day. But little do those non-it-girls know, it only works in this fit because each piece is carefully curated to create this vibe.

And of course, we had to use the Bella Hadid sunglasses, duh. And this bag is warm-toned which adds some contrast and a funky but also not funky aspect. Again, carefully curated.

It's honestly so funny how life works out sometimes. I had put this outfit together in my mind and tried to make it a few days ago, but the sunglasses I was finding were not giving what needed to be gave. I had this exact idea of how I wanted the glasses to look, but I couldn’t find anything that was perfectly matching what I needed. And it was so annoying. So I just scratched the lookbook, because it wasn’t going to work without this exact pair of sunglasses that I was envisioning.

And then this morning when I was scrolling through Instagram as one does in the morning, I saw that Lexxola had posted about a new sunglass they are releasing, and when I tell you these are the EXACT PAIR I WAS INVISIOING. Like literally identical. If someone had told me that they went into my brain, I’d believe you. I was so happy and excited when I saw these that I resurfaced this lookbook and added the perfect touch.

I wanted a pair of glasses just like the ones shown because I wanted these colors to contrast the dress exactly how they do. I love the totally unmatched vibe it gives. It's like effortlessly the most stylish person, ya know? Like oh, what these? I just threw on the first pair I could find, duh! (because we all just have every pair of Lexxola’s lying around).

And because of the unmatched sunnies, I wanted to match the bag perfectly. And I mean, come on! Look at these colors! Like talk about a match made in heaven. The colors match perfectly and this bag plus this dress is chef's kiss.

And I love a stacked necklace moment but you could honestly just go with one of the necklaces I offered (or two) and it would still be a look. But I think these three necklaces play really well with each other and the other pieces in this look.

And as for the shoes, I chose these ones because I literally have them and they are my summer shoe staple. They look good with everything, especially this look. I wanted to throw a solid color in there and these sandals totally did the job without looking like the black sheep.

I just wish I could be wearing this look in Spain right now. Ugh.

This top is definitely the star of the show and how hot is it? It's from the UK-based brand, Tora-Lily and she makes the coolest stuff. This specific top is a short-sleeve blue mesh with a print over the bust area. And it's stretchy because who doesn’t like a stretchy top.

Because this top screams I’m cooler than you, it needed a pant that displayed that but doesn’t take away from it. So these Tulia trousers from Poster Girl are perfect. They are part of Poster Girl’s “innovative new fishnet shapewear” that features “logo polka dot lace.” Plus they flare out on the bottom which is a must with tight pants for me. I think the colors and fabric play well together, although you could literally pair this top with anything and it would look hot.

With the accessories, I wanted to throw in colors that were from the pain pieces, hence the blue and orange pattern. This hair clip is from the queen of hair clips, Emi Jay. If you don’t have your clips from there then IDK what you’re doing. She is my queen and makes the cutest hair clips that literally everyone wears. Like all the it-girls get 'em from here.

Ok now, look at this bag. It’s a vintage Suhali L'Affriolant Bag from 2004 Louis Vuitton, and we all know vintage bags are the best bags. It has blue Suhali leather with gold accents, so it totally compliments both the shirt and pants. However, it isn’t cheap so I would also suggest any black mini shoulder bag that you have, that would also look super hot. Or even pull out a hobo bag if you have one because I’m calling it, those are coming back.

And finally, you need a fun shoe for this. I was leaning into the more casual just hanging out vibe when I picked these Birkenstock X Proenza Schouler Arizona Slides. They have that supermodel meets dad vibe which is always a popular choice when it comes to footwear. However, I would also pair these with the Simon Miller clogs from this lookbook or the black platform sandals from this lookbook.

The star of the show is definitely this gorgeous set from Miaou's new Spring Summer Collection and it's everything. I'm so obsessed with the entire collection that I wanted to make a lookbook for everything. The collection came out today and they call it a Paris meets NYC vibe, and I couldn't agree more.

The set is this young and free floral print that you could wear in a summery field in Paris or on a super chic night out at NYFW. Of course, you have to get drinks with your friends to show off your killed new look, and of course, your drink has to match your outfit.

You can never go wrong with a super short skirt and a tall sexy boot, so this sleek brown leather one from By Far is perfect. The colors really compliment each other and both have a similar vibe. Like if you wear this outfit you are telling everyone that you know you are the hottest and trendiest person in the room.

And a trendy set calls for a trendy bag which is why I had to compliment the pink outfit with a green Bottega Veneta clutch. How killer?! Personally, I think pink and green is the best color combo so you know I had to. Like I need to be wearing this whole outfit in NYC and take super cute after-dinner pics. You know the vibes.

Originally I wanted to add a Vivienne Westwood necklace but I decided to use the most perfect pieces from Éliou. This pearl necklace looks so good with this corset because of how big it is and the gold pearl earrings totally bring the hoops and necklace together perfectly. I hope your ears are double pierced because these three pieces were made for each other.

Honestly, this entire outfit plays so well together and it's giving everything and more. You will definitely be the star of the party. Way to go Miaou.

These military pants are all the rage right now, lemme tell ya. Bella Hadid is always seen strutting the streets of New York with them and all the it-girls have a pair. I have a white and black pair, just not from this brand, and ugh that makes me depressed. I’ve been trying to get my hands on a pair of 194’s 4EVER but they are literally sold out in all the colors. When they come back in stock I’m definitely getting the white and green pair.

But this look was really inspired by three people: Bella Hadid, Renee Bellerive, and Kim Possible.

Bella has been seen a lot recently with a pair of these Airpods Max around her neck, and all the cool girls have a pair. This means I need to get a pair ASAP and let you gal pals know if they are worth the cash. But anyways, these have been Bella’s favorite accessories so I had to style them in a look I would totally wear: and this is it.

I saw Renee wearing a black tank top and some cargo pants and I thought she looked so cute, but I really wanted to make a look with these 194’s, so this was the perfect combo. Plus you have to wear your hair in a slick back pony to really put this look over the top.

Kim Possible was my most favorite show growing up, and this look is giving all the Kim vibes. It's literally like a modern-day Kim Possible, which I love. But it got spiced up with this super cool arm jewelry.

This black tank is from Skims, which as you know they are my favorite brand for basic tops and tanks. They look so good on everybody and they are so comfortable. I was actually thinking of writing you girls an article about exactly what to get from there.

Okay, but how cute are these shoes? It's Miu Miu X New Balance, aka two of my favorite brands. Like how iconic. These two brands really played nicely together which I didn’t expect at first but after seeing the Miu Miu SS22 show, it makes perfect sense. These shoes are a great mix of that dad look and that green juice influencer look. Which basically means everyone needs these.

And feel free to play around with whatever silver accessories you want with this look, but I love this little butterfly necklace. It’s the perfect length for a plain black tank top and it manages to compliment the outfit without overpowering, which is exactly what I was looking for.

This outfit is what I imagine all the London it-girls to be wearing. It's very Pinterest, very Olivia Neil, very cute.

This grey pinstripe vest is from Motel Rocks and it's that perfect oversized look that is so hard to find. I love the cut and the shape, despite the fact that there aren't any curves. In fact, I think that's how it works so well. The low V cut and the shapeable fabric gives this vest an effortless throw-on look. And when styled correctly, that is all you need.

Usually, I wouldn't wear a shirt under a vest, but because this one is more oversized and layers well, a white baby tee would compliment the outfit really well. While a plain tee would look fine, I wanted to add some graphics while still keeping that minimal 90s look. And this zodiac shirt from Réalisation Par works great.

Réalisation Par is definitely a staple brand in every it-girls closet. They have great summer dresses and even did a whole collaboration with a TIGG Super, Claudia Schiffer. Since this look could come straight out of Pinterest, it needed a Pinterest baby tee and Réalisation has just that. I love this Gemini shirt from them but they offer it in every zodiac. Plus it comes with a tie-dye kit to make it colorful and unique. Love that.

Now you know I love a good mini skirt, and Miaou kills it every time. I think they make the shortest skirts ever and I love that. I genuinely believe that outfits like this look better with the shortest skirt possible, especially if the skirt is in black. You don't want to look like it's your mom's pencil skirt.

And a short skirt needs a big boot, hence these. A knee-high is exactly what you need so any big and tall black boot would work with this outfit.

And lastly, I stand by the fact that headphones are one of the best accessories. Because I was feeling a 90s vibe with this look I didn't want to go for a more modern and trendy headphone. These headphones totally match the vibe and are affordable. Always love when that happens.

I first saw this skirt on Dua Lipa and I knew it needed a lookbook. That plus the fact that I have been obsessed with these Simon Miller clogs ever since I first saw them.

The white cut-out mini skirt is by Marshall Columbia is the perfect subversive basic to really elevate the look. It just wouldn’t be the same with a plain white mini skirt. And if you wanted to up the colors, even more, Columbia offers this skirt in a bunch of fun shades. This skirt is also perfect to wear with a bikini because of its cutouts. You can cover up while still showing off a super cute print underneath. Because of all the other matching colors in the outfit, I really wanted to just stick with a white mini skirt to add some contrast.

The bikini is from Inamorata and I’m in love with everything. From the print to the colors to the shape, it's perfect. It’s the perfect bikini for that spring break trip down to Mexico. Plus it's designed by it-girl, Emily Ratajkowski.

Now we have to talk about these shoes. They are designed by Simon Miller and are made with vegan leather. We love a sustainable shoe. They are a slip-on clog and the perfect vacation shoe. Wear them to brunch, slip them on for the pool, and dress them up for dinner. And this shade of red totally matches the bikini, how perfect!

These sunglasses are from Gucci and are huge and I love that. They literally take up your entire face and I mean that in the best way possible. In fact, the bigger the better. Perfect for blocking out that tropical sun and all the haters.

I’m really big on colors and the way they play together, so I love this look. All the colors dance so nicely together and the accents all match up. This whole look is practically made with the colors on the bikini. The one thing throwing me off is the black rim of the sunglasses, but I didn’t want any more white since the skirt already draws a lot of attention to white.

As for the accessories, these earrings come in a pack of 6, all with different styles so you can mix and match or choose the one that best works with your outfit. I honestly love all the styles and it really is a great pack. And this look definitely needed stacked necklaces, playing into that boho-chic vibe. And the entire look is warm tones so please no silver jewelry, I don’t care if it’s your favorite. Not today.

Okay here me out with this look. I originally saw a picture on Pinterest featuring this dress and I fell in love with it. I mean how could you not? It's vintage Chanel that doesn't look like it's from your grandma's closet.

Anyways, after seeing that picture my mind immediately went to a look that @courtneymawhorr put together. I scrolled through her dreamy page and found the pic:

@courtneymawhorr

I was so obsessed that I knew I had to make a lookbook. So Court was def the inspo, but I didn’t use her exact pieces. I wanted to put my spin on it while still keeping it based on Courtney.

Courtney is such an it-girl and I’m always so obsessed with her outfits and Instagram, like talk about a fashion icon. (Courtney if you are reading this I love you).

This Chanel dress is from FarFetch and has a super fun and funky ocean print on it which I love. I also love how Courtney threw a corset on top and since Miaou is the queen of corsets, I had to include their blue one. It’s super cute and looks great on literally everyone.

And as you know you can never go wrong with a big blazer. I love this one for Zara and Court added a bunch of patches to hers but I wanted to keep it simple since there is a lot going on already. Although her jacket is super super cute.

I saw this dress and knew I wanted to pair it with an orange bag so I chose this super cute one SSENSE. Or you accessory you could do what Courtney did and wear a red beret, also super hot. And any staple boot of yours would work, I just loved this specific pair.

Okay now for the craaazyyy part. You were probably thinking, okay it’s a little all over the place but it’s still a somewhat normal outfit. Like a mini dress, boots, and a jacket. Totally understandable. But before I even saw Court’s look I really felt like something was missing and I couldn’t put my finger on it. At first, I thought it was the shoes, then the bag, and I wanted to add something but I had no idea what it was. And then I saw her look. And I rarely wear a dress and pants but something clicked where these green pants and this mini dress just pair so beautifully.

It’s like a weird food combo that you eat in front of people and everyone’s like, “ummmmm” but you’re like, “trust me its super good!”

Personally, I love the shape these pants and dress give together, but if that’s not your thing you totally don’t have to wear the pants. Or maybe you ditch the corset. Or no jacket. Literally do whatever you want just make sure you go out with confidence. Like, look at Courtney. You can’t even see her face but you just know she looks super hot.
